The Animal Hospital in Longmont, CO, is an AAHA accredited and Fear Free full-service veterinary hospital, caring for companion animals in Longmont and surrounding areas since 1946. We are a busy four-doctor practice that upholds the highest standards in veterinary medicine. Our team individualizes each role in the hospital utilizing your skills and knowledge to the best of your abilities. 

The Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary assistant (1+ years in the industry) and/or a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. We do have full-time or part-time positions available. 

Responsibilities include venipuncture, catheter placement, lab sample collection, admitting and discharging surgical patients, monitoring hospitalized patients, dispensing medications as directed by veterinarians, and assisting doctors in exam rooms. Also, helping with surgical procedures/dentals, taking TPR and history for medical exams, being proficient in restraint, completing diagnostics in-clinic, communicating with clients and staff, and having strong anesthetic monitoring skills are preferred but not required.
