We are currently looking for a full-time technician that is interested in both general practice and urgent care work. This is a great position for someone who enjoys the long-term relationships, predictability, and stability that the day offers, yet the challenges and variety of after-hours emergency medicine and surgery. Our practice is currently open Mon-Fri 8 am-9 pm, Sat 8 am-5 pm, Sun 9 am-1 pm. We keep many of our medical and surgical cases in-house, which allows for better continuity of care. However, we also have ready access to traveling specialists and specialty hospitals for those cases that need to be transferred for more extensive treatment and care. Our 10,000 sq ft building is beautifully functional for our clients and team. We have ultrasound, double dental suites which include digital dental x-ray, surgical and therapeutic laser, rehabilitation, alternative medicine such as acupuncture, VOM, and massage, exotic pet/avian care, rhinoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, a fully equipped lab to run samples immediately, and a full pharmacy including compounding for our smallest patients. Our technicians enjoy all the usual benefits (CE, PTO, retirement plan, uniform allowance, health insurance), but our practice offers so much more than can be detailed here. The Feline Fix is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit spay/neuter clinic for cats. We offer high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter and wellness services in and around the Denver area. We also have a kitten foster adoption service.
The Feline Fix is a small cat only, nonprofit that does Spay and Neuter clinics on Thursdays & Saturdays, wellness every other Friday and has a kitten foster & adoptions program. The Feline Fix does 25-32 cats a surgery day with 1-10 feral cats. We have a staff of 6 that are a tight-knit family with big hearts for cats.
