Full -Time Certified Veterinary Technician NO WEEKENDS
Job description
We are a busy AAHA-accredited three-doctor animal hospital located on the north side of Colorado Springs, Colorado seeking an experienced, full-time or part-time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Fear Free Patient Handling
- Exam Room Assisting
- Diagnostic and Laboratory Procedures
- Maintaining Accurate Medical Records
- Surgical Assisting
- Hospitalized Patient Care
- Client Relations
- Medication Handling, Dispensing and Calculating
- Treatments and Other Procedures
Multi-taskers who are organized, detail-oriented and like to laugh will fit in well at our hospital. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, exercise attention to detail, be customer service oriented, friendly, flexible, dependable and professional. This position requires at least two years of prior experience as a veterinary technician in a busy small animal practice. A Certified Veterinary Technician certified in Fear Free is preferred, but not required.

- Colorado Springs, CO 80920: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Veterinary technician: 3 years (Required)
