Full-Time CVT

Our technicians use their skills-- we rely on our technicians to offer top notch care and be able to communicate thoroughly with our clients.

Candidate Requirements:

• outgoing personality, with strong communication skills
• ability to lift 50 pound animal and sit on floor/kneel during restraint
• professional demeanor

Duties include:

• venipuncture
• running diagnostic testing in house; preparing samples for reference lab
• taking x-rays-- digital full body as well as dental x-rays
• dental care: cleaning, polishing
• inducing anesthesia, monitoring anesthesia
• working with specialists (orthopedic, radiologist and cardiologist)
• running own scheduled technician appointments for vaccinations, nail trims, anal gland expressions, blood draws
• client communication: making call to clients for updates on patient status, informing clients of normal lab results, explaining treatments and medications to clients

Hours: Schedule will be (4) weekdays from 7:15am-6pm and Rotating Saturday’s from 7:45am-4pm.

Experience: 2-years of Veterinary Technician experience required
