The Department of Clinical Sciences’ mission is to assure the health and productivity of animals to meet societal needs through high-quality educational programs for professional veterinary medical students, graduate veterinarians, and the public through a faculty and veterinary medical center of excellence, and to advance and disseminate comparative biomedical knowledge in an environment of interdisciplinary collaboration.Position SummaryThis position will support the biorepository program at the Flint Animal Cancer Center by identifying appropriate patients for participation, obtaining consent from owners, collecting samples, and collating patient data. This position works alongside others in the
- biorepository.Required Job QualificationsBachelors degree and more than 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience must include:
- Experience in a veterinary setting interacting with clients and patients
OR
- Recent Masters degree and no other significant professional experience
AND
- Excellent client communication skills in a veterinary setting
- Preferred Job QualificationsExperience with Red Cap data entry
