Spirited, Quirky Practice Seeking Long Term Relationship with Veterinary Nurse/CVT

Denver, CO

We are a passionate, progressive and productive practice with high emotional intelligence, strong sense of service and large on humor & fun. Our ideal candidate CVT possesses like-minded attributes and work ethic; solid medical, dental and surgical technical skills; and a commitment to compassionate care of people and their pets. Must be open to hard work tempered by fun, face licks and belly rubs as we grow. Seeking a full-time but will also consider part-time.

Are you attracted to a practice with the following to help you succeed?

·        An independent, AAHA-accredited facility practicing Fear Free™/low stress handling.

·        Caring colleagues with open minds and hearts.

·        Up-to-date equipment including electronic medical records, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray (all dental patients get full-mouth and post-extraction radiographs), in-house lab including PT/aPTT, cold laser and more.

·        A chance to expand and grow your veterinary medical and dental skills including CE hours coverage and training.

·        A strong nursing team to support doctors in care and efficiency – we know that teamwork makes the dream work.

·        Work/life balance with a 4-day week and every 3rd Saturday (8am-2pm) as one schedule option – we’re open to finding the best schedule to support your success while maintaining excellence in client/patient care.

We want our doctors leveraged by our nursing team so that we all can practice at their highest level so you'll never find yourself just doing menial tasks and animal restraint. The majority of our clients are stellar and often willing to go forward with ideal medical diagnostics and treatment. Particularly in these recent crazy times, we pride ourselves on trying to find the best balance for client/patient care without burning out our team members so our schedule is well controlled to avoid an overloaded schedule.

We are located in northeast Denver in the Park Hill neighborhood in a great little shopping center with restaurants galore.

Caught your eye? Don’t wait too long– please send a cover letter with more information about yourself along with your resume to drmargot@parkhillvet.com. We’d love to set up a first date.

The fine print: Ideally be a graduate of an accredited veterinary technology program with two or more years’ experience, but we are very willing to help you on your path towards certification. Salary commensurate to experience and we regularly give salary increases on merit. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, uniform stipend, annual CE and CVT licensure.

Thank you for your consideration!
