Veterinary Nurse/Assistant

Aspen Ridge Animal Hospital is a thriving small animal, family oriented hospital located in beautiful Golden, CO.  We have been providing excellent veterinary care to the surrounding area for over 17 years; offering a wide variety of services including new laser therapy, digital radiology, dentistry, surgery and more.  Aspen Ridge Animal Hospital was voted Golden’s Neighborhood Best Veterinary Hospital in the past 4 years.

We are privately owned and looking for an assistant/nurse with excellent communcation skills and is a team member.  We are seeking a full or part time staff member who is friendly, has an outgoing personality with a sense of humor.  Aspen Ridge values employees who understand the importance and significance of our relationships with our clients and patients. 

Responsibilities would include client education, dental radiographs and prophies, monitoring anesthesia, in house lab work, radiographs and patient care. The candidate should be self motivated and be able to multi-task.  Benefits include paid vacations and holidays, production bonus paid CE allowance, 401K, scrub allowance, and discounted pet care. 

Our flexible schedule promotes an ideal professional and personal balanced work week. Aspen Ridge is located just an hour from skiing, hiking, paddle boarding, camping, fishing and any other outdoor activity you would want to enjoy. We are open 7:30am to 5:30pm on week days and 8 to noon on Saturdays.  You would enjoy a 3 or 4 day work week with two Saturdays off per month.
