Veterinary Technician

Durango, CO

PT/FT. This job involves animal handling & restraint, laboratory diagnostic processing, loading mobile equipment & supplies, managing inventory, driving vehicles to housecall appointments, and other duties to assist veterinarians with patient care. In this role, you will also be required to triage incoming client requests, schedule suitable housecall appointments, manage prescription requests, utilize a cloud-based medical record software, and perform other administrative tasks. We currently utilize portable digital x-ray, ultrasound, and perform in-house labs at our office where appointments are also sometimes seen. We do not perform procedures that require anesthesia, but have the capability to perform minor procedure requiring sedation.
