Veterinary Technician I - Intermediate Care (Overnights B)

To educate the next generation of veterinarians by providing exceptional veterinary care and service to the community every day. The Intermediate Care (IC) unit is an integral part of the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital which provides 24/7 state-of-the-art perioperative care and medical boarding.Position SummaryThis position will provide care to non-critical patients hospitalized in ICW who are recovering from anesthesia, surgery, or require medical boarding and/or observation.


This is an essential worker position and must be willing and able to report to work as directed to perform essential and/or emergency services without delay or interruption.


This position typically works overnights 10 pm – 8 am (10-hour shifts) four days per week, but may be asked to adjust to meet the needs of the department and university.


The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the department will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.


Travel funds for interviews are limited to $500 maximum.


A combination of signing bonus + moving expenses available = $2,500 max for successful candidates

$39,720 - $47,664 (Salary is commensurate with experience and shift/schedule)
