At the CSU VTH, we exist to educate the next generation of veterinarians by providing exceptional veterinary care and service to the community…every day. This work unit exists to instruct professional veterinary students, to provide nursing care to cancer patients, to facilitate research, to sedate/anesthetize patients, to deliver chemotherapeutic agents, to collect blood/tissue samples, perform physical examinations, maintain accurate medical records and to provide clear and accurate information to clients whose animals may have cancer. This position provides technical and nursing support to animal cancer patients, clinicians, students and clients. This position collects blood/tissue samples, sedates/anesthetizes patients, prepares for minor surgical procedures, administers chemotherapeutic agents, records data and communicates with clients. This position also instructs all levels of veterinary students and technician students. We work M-F, no weekends, and paid Holidays
